5. Attend a daily service at the Forest Temple or Inspiration Stump for meditation, healing or receiving messages from the other side.


6. Catch the Friday night drumming session at Lilydale on the beach from 8 to 10 p.m., if the weather permits. Drum like the Native Americans and other cultures have for centuries and feel the air become alive.


7. Sign up for a spot in the sweat lodge, a Native American cleansing ritual similar to a sauna, but lasting for several hours. The sweat lodge holds 25 people, and it's first come, first serve. Sweat lodges are held several times throughout the summer.


8. Take the kids to Children’s Week in July for a Lilydale-style beach party, kids' yoga classes, healings, fairy house activities, a talent show, high tea and much more Victorian spiritualism fun.


9. Go to one of the spiritualism workshops held at Lilydale throughout the summer season. Sign up early for more famous speakers that fill up quickly. Topics covered may include out-of-body experiences, women’s topics, reiki, generating power, cosmic experiences and more.


10. Have lunch at one of Lilydale’s great eating establishments like Cup O’ Joe or the Sunflower Cafeteria after shopping at the Victorian boutiques, shoppes or the spiritualism bookstore.


11. Meditate while walking around the labyrinth just north of the playground or sitting in the Meditation Garden.


12. Swim at the Lilydale beach on beautiful Cassadaga Lake, then take a hike on the nearby Fairy and Nature Trails.


13. Attend the free spiritualism worship service held every Sunday morning at the Lilydale Spiritual Assembly (see Resources below).
