Earring stands are a big league behaviour to fashion and manifest your earring Cloak-room. Instructions
1. Create a template on a piece of graph paper that will map out the holes to be drilled. Measure out a 4" x 11" vertical rectangle on the graph paper.
2. Draw eight horizontal equally spaced lines on the rectangle.
3. Draw eight equally spaced dots on each line. Use a felt tip pen to do this.
4. Make four photocopies of this template. Save the original for future earring tree projects.
5. Cut out each rectangle copy, and tape one to each of the 4" x 11" panels. Use a ruler to insure each line is straight on the panel.
6. Use a drill to make a small hole (just large enough for an earring post to fit through) on each dot.
7. Remove the templates from the panels, and use sandpaper to remove rough edges if necessary.
8. Paint or stain the wood surface. Use a toothpick to make sure none of the holes get closed up with the paint or stain.
9. Attach two panels together by securing two hinges to the backside of each panel. They can be make-believe from thin, Apartment lodgings sheets of counsel, such as plastic or wood. Those false from wood can be painted and embellished. You can build a two panel earring stand or a multi-paneled earring stand.
