Backmask

Backmasking consists of writing a song that has a close comment in it when the song is played backwards. Normally it's associated with satanic messages, however that doesn't chalk up to be the process. Backmasking is considered to be a figure of artistic vocable.


Instructions


1. Familiarize yourself with some of the backmasked tracks gone there nowadays. There has been a plenty of say of satanic subliminal messages. One illustration of backmasking is Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven."


2. Construct concept of driftless songs played backward. Flip the sound file around, using a form of sound editing software. Try to distinguish words and write out the lyrics to the song as it is played backward.


3. Write your own backmasked song. Jot down the lyrics that you want heard when the song is played backward. Try something witty or funny, rather than something satanic.


4. Record the song forward with music, using a tune that you have made up. Listen to the song backward and familiarize yourself with the melody as it is heard backward. Record the singing backward with the lyrics that were previously written.


When played backward, you will hear what sounds like your original lyrics.5. Flip the song and listen to it forward again. Try to work out some lyrics that make sense. Use these lyrics to record the final edited song forward.
