Linoleum block printing is a Art that dates back to the early 1920s. The artist uses a portion of linoleum that is mounted on a wood block to compose a carved picture. It is coinciding to wood-block carving; but, whereas linoleum is even softer, it is easier to carve. It is a Art that is elementary for all ages and is a traditional elementary academy Craft project. It is extremely used in scrapbooking and creating homemade greeting cards.


Remove the paper once you admit finished tracing the draft.4. Carve the plot using linoleum-cutting tools. You can either outline your image and leave the background flat and without a lot of details or carve out the background to create a raised image.
