According to the Eats and Agriculture Format (FAO) of the United Nations, bananas exported from Mexico declined by 75 percent over the 10-year space from 1994 to 2004.
Trade Issues
Bananas exported from Mexico and other Latin American countries were the adult of agonizing Commerce disputes where bananas were argued to be unfavorably taxed in Europe. In 2009, the Field Commerce Organization helped resolve the 18-year dispute.
