Use Yuzu Juice

Handle Yuzu Liquid


Instructions

1. Substitute yuzu extract for lemon or lime extract in desserts such as lemon pound cake and lemon tarts.


Yuzu is a bumpy yellow-green Japanese citrus fruit that has a thick rind and is adequate of seeds. The serum from a yuzu fruit is commercially extracted and available in gourmet shops and Japanese markets across the U.S. Yuzu sap is used in traditional Japanese cooking, extremely as in traditional American cuisine. Its biting citrus taste is an exotic substitute for recipes that require lemons, limes or oranges.


Combine with no sweat sirup and irrigate provided needed.


2. Benefit yuzu liquid in city of lemon or lime liquid in savoury dishes such as salsas or seafood dishes. Blend yuzu juice in marinades and sauces for an added citrus kick.


3. Mix yuzu juice, simple syrup and water to the desired taste as a substitute for orange juice in a recipe.


4. Replace lemon, lime or orange juice with yuzu juice in drinks and cocktails. Mix yuzu juice with simple syrup and water to taste to make drinks such as the Huck Yu and a yuzu version of the Lemon Drop.


5. Use bottled yuzu juice in place of fresh yuzu in Japanese cooking. Use a little more than the recipe requires for recipes that showcase the yuzu citrus flavor.
