The Jewish Museum
The faculty of Modern York City's Jewish district is celebrated at The Jewish Museum on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The museum has a massive permanent party of Judaica dating back to pre-Medieval times. It and features a rotating party of ongoing Jewish Craft and exhibits, including many films and visual installations. The Museum too has an lingering boon shop where you can buy Judaica.

French Institute Alliance Francaise
The French Institute Alliance Francaise is Advanced York's largest native land committed to the preservation of French culture, Craft and speech. Deeper than good a venue for French Craft, the sovereign state hosts many lecturers, fashion installations and wine tastings from many of France's most usual regions. Membership allows access to all of the events, including a handful of dinners throughout the year.

The Cloisters
Establish in Upper Manhattan's Fort Tryon Grassland, The Cloisters is a reproduction of various French Cloisters, all built in and environing the Medieval period. Owned and operated by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, it houses an impressive permanent collection of Medieval art, manuscripts and leaded windows, besides as a number of visiting installations. One of the most popular features at The Cloisters are the gardens, called the Cuxa Cloisters.

New York Historical Society
Founded in 1804, this is the oldest museum in New York City. The research library at the society holds volumes dating back to the first settlements on the island of Manhattan, and the collection of historical artifacts is unrivaled.
