Venice, located on Florida's Gulf Seaside, is an globe that encompasses the communities of Laurel, Osprey, Nokomis and South Venice, further as the municipality of Venice itself. The Venice Craft Centre, established in 1956, features works of Craft completed a combo of mediums. Artwork includes paintings and prints such as lithographs, photographs, drawings and digital Craft. The Venice Craft Festival is an annual outdoor art show held the first weekend of November. The show takes place just east of Venice Beach and draws approximately 150 area artists, presenting over $15 million worth of paintings, sculptures and jewelry. All artists on exhibit are on site during the entire show so visitors will have the opportunity to speak with them personally. Admission is free.
