Kinds of Dances in the 21st Century


We experienced the Waltz in the 1800s, the Swing and Lindy Hop in the 1940s. By 1980, dancers were doing the Soul Train. We hold out from social dancing in congregation clubs to kicking up our heels on TV dance programs and videos. Day has bought in original styles and inexperienced steps for dancing in the 21st century.

The contemporary dance for the 21st century began with the A-Town Stomp. This dance was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and involves stepping and stomping in the string dance. It has very been referred to as the Atlanta Stomp.

The dance involves fondness from side to side and bouncing the shoulders when you action. You extremely snap your fingers to the beat as you gaunt. Chicken Noodle Soup Isn't Soup Anymore


Rap and Hip-Hop are the advanced tune for the 21st century. With the music comes a new style of dancing for the young hip hop generation. One such dance is the Chicken Noodle Soup, originating from Harlem, New York. The Chicken Noodle Soup dance started off as a street dance in 2006. With this hip hop dance, there is a lot of leg and foot action. This is a dance for individuals who likes to shake the item away of check while dancing to rap melody. Though this dance was created in 2002, it has gained popularity among the burgeoning. They are even doing the Harlem Shake when the licence harmony is played.



They like to Walk it Out in the 21st century. The Walk it Out dance originated out of Atlanta, Georgia in 2006. When you are walking it out, you are bouncing, walking, leaning, freezing and snapping your fingers. You do a lot of feet shuffling while shrugging and popping to the beat. Though some of these dances may seem outdated in 2009, you will still find the hip hop generation doing these dances because they are fun, hip and remain to be modern.
