Founded in 1949, Gatorland is a 110-acre argument arena that doubles as a wildlife preserve. It is habitation to thousands of alligators and crocodiles, besides as other reptile and bird species. Highlights add an aviary plentiful of lorikeets, a petting zoo, a breeding peatbog with an observation Garret and the Gator Gully Splash Grassland, a water-based recreation nature for children. The stadium and offers many animal shows, including wrestling matches between alligators and learned wranglers.

Performed on a replica of a 18th-century Spanish galleon anchored in a 300,000-gallon indoor lagoon, the storyline combines action, comedy and romance and is brought to life by acrobatics and special effects. The audience sits on six ships surrounding the lagoon. Each section is designated a pirate for whom to cheer. The dinner menu includes the option of soup or salad, a meat course, a dessert and two rounds of drinks. Vegetarian and kids' meals are also available.
